Following several requests, and in the spirit of inclusivity, the conference organizers are pleased to announce a final extension for abstract submissions to the 12th World Sponge Conference. The portal for abstract submission will now remain open until April 25th, 2025. They encourage all participants to take advantage of this final opportunity and submit abstracts via the conference website.
Similarly, they are still accepting demonstrations of interest for pre-conference events (to take place on the 8th September). So, if you are interested in proposing a pre-conference event please reach out to them directly at WSC2025@ciimar.up.pt. When doing so, kindly include an approximate number of participants and any logistical needs (e.g., room size, equipment, preferred time slot). Once all proposal have been received, they will reach out to discuss them in more detail and gather any additional information needed to help plan and accommodate the event(s).
